Richard and Carol Ann Morrison would
like to invite you to their rental cabin in rural, Lumpkin Georgia.
The cozy wood frame cabin, located on the Morrison property, is part of
a row crop, cow/calf operation that has been in their family since 1947.
“Our rental cabin sleeps 6. One room has a queen bed and the other has
two double beds. It is a one bath. A large front porch has a porch swing and rocking chairs. The cabin is
fully equipped...you can cook your meals in or go in to Lumpkin and
visit our restaurants for southern cooking.
Relax outdoors and watch the sun sink into the west. As you
gaze across the road, you may see deer
grazing in the hay fields. The cabin is surrounded on three sides with
pasture land. You'll hear the cows mooing in the early
morning and the afternoons near feeding time. If you need some R & R and
down time from life's hectic pace...the Morrison Farm Cabin is the place
to slip off your shoes, kick back and rest a while.
Sit on the porch a spell and watch the occasional pick-up go by. Talk a
walk and look at the antique tractors and old trucks on the Morrison
Farm.
Want to hike and see one of the prettiest state parks in Georgia? Then
don't miss the "Little Grand Canyon" at Providence Canyon
State Park. A few more miles down the road is Florence Park
State Marina.
Are you a hunter? Deer and bird hunters visiting us can pick up supplies at Lynch's General Store in Lumpkin
(229-838-4263) For a hunting license call Hannahatchee Wildlife
Management DNR at 339-430-4254
Are you a history buff? If so visit Westville Village "Where it's always
1850", Bedingfield Stage Coach Inn, and Hatcher Drugstore Museum in Lumpkin.
You'll find all the all the shops you could want to visit within an hour
of the cabin. Go to
Lumpkin GA for antiquing on the square, or go 20 miles to Eufala Alabama
for more antique stores and shoppinf from boutiques to Wal Mart.
Our rates are a reasonable $250.00 per
week or $50.00 per night.
